Fishermen decorate their bright boats with flags of their countries, images of animals and birds, names of local deities, floral motifs, and a variety of colour schemes. This study concentrated on well-known coastal fishing villages and other regions of Andhra Pradesh. To understand local customs and beliefs, this study looks at hand-painted artwork and depictions of national deities on fishing boats.
