Learning to Unlearn: Introducing Concepts with Criticality
摘要
This chapter offers an activity that develops students’ academic literacy while covering curriculum content. The activity positions students as experts of their experience and educators and students alike as co-constructors of knowledge. Three stages of the activity take participants through a process of unlearning to learn, keeping criticality and inquiry as the aim. Students ask “how do I know what I think I know?” and “how do the sources I seek know what they say they know?”.
