Assessment of the Glasshouse Application for the Glory Lily Flower in an Indian Climate
摘要
The present analysis describes the study on maintaining the temperature of a greenhouse using a fan system for Glory lily flower in Indian climate. Glory lily has various potential health benefits, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-tumour properties, which make it an important plant in traditional medicine. The study includes various factors depicting internal temperature, vapor pressure, discharge rates, power consumption, and average monthly power consumption for summer and winter seasons. The relationship between temperature, discharge rates, and power consumption, showed that power consumption increases with increasing temperature which peaks during the summer months requiring higher rate of fan discharge. A MATLAB (R2015a) program has been developed to optimize the power usage by predicting the time and duration of its requirement by providing valuable insights into optimizing power usage in greenhouse systems to maintain the desired temperature range for specific crops. Overall, the study provides valuable insights into the energy consumption for maintaining a constant temperature in a greenhouse using a fan system, offering a valuable resource for greenhouse management and optimization.
