Inspired by human forum discussions on the character’s pivotal decision in the Oscar-winning film ‘The Departed’, this study explores the application of Large Language Model (LLM) in character decision-making. Grounded in Kohlberg’s moral development, the research compares ChatGPT 4.0 responses with a Multi-Agent Framework. The study reveals that the Multi-Agent Framework surpasses ChatGPT in depth and multi perspective reasoning, providing a more nuanced understanding of character motivations. This research contributes to the storytelling field by enhancing AI’s role in character decision-making.
