The chapter looks into options for cloud migration, such as lift-and-shift, replatforming, and rearchitecting, stressing their financial implications. It also covers the total cost of ownership (TCO) in cloud computing, with a comparison of pricing models such pay-as-you-go, reserved instances, and spot instances.
