This chapter and the following one highlight the role of Conflict Resolution Mechanism (CRM) and its impacts on party internal fragmentation or cohesion. For this purpose, this chapter examines some aspects related to the situation of CRMs in each party, including its absence and presence as well as its impacts on the solidity of each political party. This chapter and the following one put the CRM as part of the party’s attempts to deal with conflict prevention and settlement.
