This chapter will address the PKS’ systematic attempts to perform caderization and their relation to the party’s capacity in preserving its internal cohesion. Systematic caderization, one dimension of party institutionalization, played a salient role in helping the PKS build its solidity. The first section of this chapter will focus on formal legal aspects of the caderization process, including the party’s statutes (AD/ART) and other relevant rules of the game, to demonstrate how complex and coherent the caderization process is in the PKS. The following section will examine the implementation of caderization in the PKS, which overall displayed the party’s commitment to caderization and recruitment. The third section consists of a discussion on several tendencies arising from the systemic caderization. This chapter ends with a highlight on various impacts of those tendencies towards the party’s capability in maintaining its solidity.
