Objective: To identify the hot topics and evolutionary features of China's information management policies and analyze the situation of information management. Methods: Based on 40 information management policies published on Chinese government websites from 2018 to 2023, this paper applies the LDA topic model (Latent Dirichlet Distribution) fused with the TF-IDF algorithm to mine the text, and extracts the keywords to form the characteristic themes of the information management policies. Results: Text mining identified four major themes: government services and regulation, information system fund verification, large-scale construction and state-owned assets survey, and important impacts in public construction bidding. Conclusion: China’s information management policy focuses on public construction, government services and financial management and supervision of large enterprises and institutions in the macro area, while policies for small and micro enterprises and personal information need to be further standardized.
