It is through creative methodologies and forms of art that the child delves within and explores her varied emotions. When the child is provided with a space filled with trust, she is comfortable experiencing and acting out myriad emotions. Creative drama is a mode that provides a creative outlet for the expression of children through the use of their bodies. It enables children to express their thoughts and feelings naturally while they enact as different characters and things and make those people and things active through their actions. The emphasis on integrating art forms like drama in the curriculum can be cathartic for children and prepare them to deal with situations as adults in a constructive manner.
