Students are increasingly exposed to stressful academic conditions owing to steep and unhealthy competitive spree and difficulties which were felt lately brought about by the pandemic; resulted in bringing about tumultuous changes in every sphere of life. Educational pedagogy has changed wherein online platforms and blended learning have become an essential part of the school experience. The well-being of students is at stake, which requires attention to be provided essentially. The importance of inculcating mindfulness practices among pupils from the very primary level to the higher levels in the daily regime is increasingly being felt. This may be done by gradually psycho-educating students by focusing on breath work, practising brief spells of silence, engaging in yoga and meditative practices, guided imagery, unplugging oneself from stimulations of different kinds and the like to carve a ‘peace corner’ in oneself. Their implications have been discussed in the chapter.
