The paper presents the findings and proposed solutions based on research conducted at Karnavati University to address difficulties faced by newcomers navigating the campus. The study identified stationery, ATMs, and library as the most challenging areas to access. To enhance accessibility, three primary solutions were devised. Firstly, the campus map has been revised and simplified for better understanding and started with cognitive task analysis. Secondly, a cost-effective and durable signage system will be implemented, incorporating pictograms and 3D arrows to guide individuals to specific locations, even at night. Finally, the strategic placement of signs across the campus will assist newcomers in finding their way more effortlessly. These proposed solutions aim to alleviate the navigation challenges faced by newcomers, creating a more welcoming and user-friendly environment within Karnavati University's campus.
