This research paper aims to develop the user experience within a fully autonomous passenger drone vehicle (PAV). User experience is a combination of aesthetic pleasure, meaning of attributes, and emotional experience. An experiment was set up to create an immersive environment inside the CAVE projection system. A full-scale passenger cabin was kept inside, and 180-degree video was played on the 3 projector screens which gave an illusion of sitting and flying in a PAV. A physical survey was used as the methodology to collect the data. The data was analyzed quantitatively using a PREMO framework to identify the emotions invoked by the cabin interaction. The results from this study depict the emotional and cognitive impact of the user experience for the development of a futuristic vehicle.
