Implementation of Poka-Yoke in Fire Crackers Industry to Improve the Safety: A Case Study
摘要
This research investigates integrating Lean Manufacturing principles to improve safety within the fireworks industry. The fireworks sector faces unique safety challenges due to explosive materials handling and production. By applying Poka-Yoke principles to streamline production, reduce inventory, and improve material handling, this study aims to minimize safety risks. Value stream mapping has been studied for the industry, and safety improvement opportunities for crackers have been identified. This research emphasizes Poka-Yoke as a crucial component in leveraging Lean Manufacturing to ensure safety compliance and reduce hazards in the fireworks industry, aligning safety measures with production efficiency. By implementing this, we are going to reduce 95% of accidents.
