Voice recognition technology has rapidly become a pivotal element in human–computer interaction, especially with the rise of voice assistants like Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Siri. These systems are integrated into smartphones, home automation devices, and various applications, making daily tasks more efficient through natural language commands. This review examines the current landscape of voice assistant technology, focusing on its accuracy, reliability, and applications. It also addresses challenges such as environmental noise, multilingual adaptability, and privacy concerns. Finally, the paper explores potential future improvements, such as enhanced machine learning algorithms, better offline functionality, and stronger privacy safeguards. The findings highlight the growing importance of voice assistants while also pointing toward necessary advancements for the technology to reach its full potential.
