The rise of sensors and their application in various real-life scenarios call for increased security of data in transit between the various entities involved. The features of attribute-based encryption have been explored in various applications. To ensure increased end-to-end security, we propose a protocol that uses authenticated encryption (AE), attribute-based encryption (ABE), and updatable encryption (UE). The proposed protocol is found resistant to common attacks and also highlights a few applications.

摘要

The rise of sensors and their application in various real-life scenarios call for increased security of data in transit between the various entities involved. The features of attribute-based encryption have been explored in various applications. To ensure increased end-to-end security, we propose a protocol that uses authenticated encryption (AE), attribute-based encryption (ABE), and updatable encryption (UE). The proposed protocol is found resistant to common attacks and also highlights a few applications.
