摘要
This study aims to establish a conceptual model and identify characteristics of green transformational leadership (GTL) in healthcare organizations. The main focus of the study is the healthcare organizations. A literature review and insights from healthcare specialists were used to identify the green transformational leadership characteristics, which were face-validated by the healthcare experts. Closed-ended questionnaires and scheduled interviews were used to gather data for the study. The Total Interpretive Structural Modeling (TISM) and MICMAC analysis were employed in the study to gain a deeper understanding of the GTL characteristics interrelations in the context of healthcare organizations. Openness to new green ideas (C2), clear vision (C3), green knowledge (C4), emotional intelligence (C6), and team building capacity (C10) have the “strong driving power, but weak dependence”. Through this study, academics and other stakeholders will have a better knowledge of the essential driving leadership qualities needed by healthcare leaders who are focused on green transformations.
