This paper explores the critical factors influencing student’s choice of colleges and universities. Key determinants identified include academic reputation, tuition fees, financial aid, career services, geographical location, campus facilities, and diversity. The findings highlight that academic reputation, career services, and job placement opportunities are top priorities for students, while tuition fees and scholarships are closely associated with financial concerns. Other factors such as campus life, social environment, and online resources also play significant roles. The research is based on a survey of 496 students rating various determinants of their choices. The study’s findings emphasize that practical, academic, and social factors shape students’ decision-making processes in selecting higher education institutions.
