Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an emerging trend in enterprise information systems, aimed at providing comprehensive resource planning solutions for organizations. Cloud–ERP solutions can be implemented across various sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, education, and more. Therefore, in-depth research into cloud–ERP systems is highly necessary and meaningful in the current context. This study approaches cloud–ERP concepts, and reviews the theoretical foundations of ERP and cloud–ERP in the education sector, subsequently identifying development trends of cloud–ERP in modern education. The research results not only benefit the modern education field but also contribute knowledge to ERP and cloud–ERP related research directions.
