The contribution of Higher Education Institutes (HEI) to generate towards the progress of any nation is second to none. HEIs are responsible for cultivating the knowledge that enables students to contribute to sustainable development and prepare job-ready graduates for Industry 5.0. Nevertheless, as the world evolves seamlessly at lightning speed, HEIs have been tasked to be at the forefront to spearhead the necessary changes towards Industry 5.0 rapidly. Sustainable Development (SD) and the need to focus on Industry 5.0 have been identified as pivotal shifts. Thus, industries and nations are beginning to align policies and strategies by integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their practices. This chapter focuses on 3 particular SDGs, namely quality education (SDG 4), Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9) and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17) which have been integrated into the business policy and planning together with Industry 5.0 elements of Quest International University (QIU), Malaysia. Additionally, the chapter will dive into the benefits gained by QIU and also discuss the current challenges and future aspirations of QIU in further incorporating subsequent SDGs into the higher education business model.
