Methods to Detect Epigenetic Changes
摘要
Heritable modifications in gene expression that, in contrast to mutations, cannot be linked to changes in DNA sequences are known as epigenetics. Notably, over the last few years, the field of epigenetics research has expanded rapidly. Because of the innovative nature of this field and recent advancements that have produced fascinating findings, epigenetics has to be brought to the forefront of molecular biology through meticulous methodology and cutting-edge technologies. Histone modifications, noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs), and DNA and RNA methylation are the most well-known epigenetic controls. The methods that are currently available for identifying changes in genome-wide and locus-specific epigenetic coding are covered in this chapter. Additionally, advancements in the field, updated technology analysis, and bioinformatics pipelines for epigenetic analysis are discussed.
