As one of the basic protocols of the next-generation global credit certification and value Internet, blockchain has been actively deployed by all countries to compete for the right to formulate standards. In the 13th Five Year Plan for National Informatization, blockchain is identified as a key cutting-edge technology, and it is explicitly stated that innovation, experimentation, and application of blockchain technology need to be strengthened to seize the dominant position in the new generation of information technology. Starting from the current development status of innovative applications of blockchain, this article summarizes the practical difficulties faced by blockchain innovation applications in terms of technological research and development capabilities, large-scale implementation applications, talent and intellectual resources, and legal support. It proposes to focus on promoting core technology breakthroughs, promoting industrial pilot applications, guiding industrial agglomeration development, accelerating talent team construction, and improving local supporting regulations, in order to provide guarantees for optimizing and upgrading blockchain innovation applications.
