摘要

Artificial intelligence (AI) and digitized Whole Slide Images are revolutionizing diagnostic precision and personalized medicine in pathology. Deep learning offers objective methodologies and improved predictive abilities, streamlining workflows and optimizing treatment strategies. Despite limitations in digitization infrastructure and interpretability, AI integration has the potential to improve pathologists' skills, standardize practices, and advance patient care, shaping the future of diagnostic medicine. In this review, we explore the fusion of artificial intelligence and tissue biomarkers in pathology, highlighting its significant impact on diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive functions. Spanning across various domains including liver, lung, stomach, and colon pathology, as well as dermatopathology. Finally, we discuss the future trajectory of AI in pathology.
