Diabetic Retinopathy Diagnosis Using Convolutional Neural Networks

India has the highest percentage of diabetes cases worldwide, as evidenced by its reputation as the “Diabetes Capital” of the world. Diabetes is a prevalent illness worldwide, including in India. But an increase in glucose levels can also have the opposite effects, such as diabetic neuropathy and retinopathy. We shall handle diabetic retinopathy, also referred to as diabetic eye disease, in this endeavour. Diabetic retinopathy is a condition related to the eye’s fundus that can have a negative impact on the patient if it is not identified. It may also result in a very permanent visual impairment if left untreated in the early stages. The essential point of our undertaking is to foster an application utilizing AI that aides in foreseeing regardless of whether an individual is impacted by diabetic retinopathy.
