The study examines how the Construction and Demolition (C&D) sector in Saudi Arabia may implement circular economy practices, such as source segregation, to increase the efficiency of their operations. With the aim of promoting circularity in refuse management, this study endeavors to identify obstacles, evaluate current legislation, and propose efficacious solutions. Case studies, surveys, and in-depth interviews are all components of the mixed-method approach to the research. The achievement of sustainable waste management objectives necessitates the concerted endeavors of various stakeholders, the implementation of policies that align with the circular economy principles, and the separation of garbage at its source. By providing practitioners, industry stakeholders, and legislators with actionable recommendations to improve C&D circular economy practices, the paper contributes to the larger discourse on sustainable urban development.
