This section, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Asian Higher Education, examines how Asian universities are adapting their teaching and learning practices to tackle contemporary challenges and prepare students for future needs. It explores five key themes—pedagogical innovation, technological integration, educational policy and governance for innovation, assessment and evaluation practices, and academic and professional development—through illustrative cases from Singapore, Japan, China, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. This overview concludes by discussing ongoing challenges and opportunities, emphasizing the need for alignment among policy, pedagogy, and technology to foster sustained innovation in Asian higher education.
