This chapter focuses on the use of AI in Singapore education at three levels: national policy, K-12 education and teacher training, and higher education. It gives an overview of how AI has been embedded into digital learning platforms, instructional design, policy frameworks, and capacity building in Singapore. This chapter starts with an overview of the national initiatives like the Singapore Smart Nation Project, Singapore National AI Strategy 2.0, and the EdTech Plan 2030 led by the Ministry of Education (MOE). Specifically, it reviews flagship projects like the Student Learning Space (SLS) and national AI ethics frameworks contextualized for education. It then describes how AI is integrated into the Singapore educational system at different levels, like the implementation of Adaptive Learning System in primary schools for math learning, and the establishment of AI-related research centers and programs in universities. Finally, this chapter concludes by reflecting on Singapore’s experience as a reference point for policymakers and educators worldwide navigating the evolving landscape of educational transformation through AI.
