IOT-Based Agricultural System with Standalone Solar Power Management

In last few years, over the time, the rainfall patterns and weather conditions have been changing and cause simultaneous threat to crop cultivation in farms. Due to change in environment conditions smart agriculture systems have come in to existence and many farmers are slowly adapting to these agriculture systems due to its advantages. It is a method where manual procedure is automated with the help of information technology linked with IOT. IOT has wide range of scope, especially in areas of wireless environments. The smart sensors with this technology have led to sustainable farming even in different climatic conditions. The whole system can be controlled by wireless communication with internet and can be monitored also. The main objective of smart agriculture is to automate irrigation system using IOT technologies and powered by solar system. This paper focused on the off-grid renewable agricultural methods as well. The proposed system used to provide the information such as soil moisture, water level, humidity, and temperature to the farmers through IoT system. From that information, smart agriculture can be achieved. Because farmer can able to access real-time data in a user-friendly and easily accessible manner. Here smartphone can be used to monitor the crop field condition and it will help to conduct the required action based on current circumstances. Also, it helps to achieve the solar system power management.
