This study aims to synthesize and compare the compressive properties of hard and soft eggshell-silicone biocomposites using linear elastic and Ogden hyperelastic constitutive models. The biocomposites were fabricated with varying eggshell content percentages using Ecoflex 0030 (soft) and Moldstar (hard) silicone. Compression tests were conducted using a universal testing machine, and the data were analyzed through curve fitting to determine the Ogden parameters. Results indicated that the compressive behavior of soft eggshell-silicone biocomposites improved with eggshell content up to 8%, then decreased. In contrast, the addition of eggshell powder had minimal effect on the compressive behavior of hard silicone composites. These findings highlight the complex relationship between eggshell content and compressive properties, emphasizing the need for precise formulation. The study concludes that optimizing eggshell content in silicone biocomposites can enhance mechanical properties, with potential applications in areas requiring specific compressive strength and elasticity.

摘要
