Emissions from various geothermal industrial projects are very detrimental to ecosystems and the environment. Many factors contribute to pollution, starting from planning, implementation, as well as the use of fuels such as coal, diesel, and others that cause pollution. Therefore, this research investigates pollution from the development of geothermal projects in Indonesia which has an impact on environmental damage. This research investigates the extent of the impact of pollution, and efforts to control it on environmental impacts. The factors identified in this study are based on comprehensive literature. All factors were grouped through a factor matrix and then involved 5 experts to ask for their opinions. Data analysis uses SPSS v.25 and PLS-SEM to analyze and determine pollution factors that cause environmental pollution. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a guide in developing geothermal projects in Indonesia in the future.
