Design of the PLC Simulation Experimental Platform Based on Siemens TIA Portal Software
摘要
In the context of integrated theoretical and practical teaching in higher education, electrical control and PLC technology are fundamental components within the field of industrial control. The promotion and application of these methods are frequently hindered by their high costs, the bulkiness of experimental equipment, and limited application scenarios. To address these challenges in the experimental teaching of this course, this paper employs TIA Portal software to develop a simulation experiment platform based on HMI and the S7-1500 PLC. This platform allows students to intuitively understand and engage with control processes. Teaching experiments confirm that the simulation platform accurately replicates the control processes of real-world scenarios, providing students with an accessible, practice-oriented environment that effectively integrates theory with practice. Furthermore, this study highlights the efficiency, convenience, and cost-effectiveness of PLC technology in electrical control education.
