Currently, numerous issues persist within the realm of ESP (English for Specific Purpose) digital textbooks, including a significant lack of deep integration between industry and education, emphasis on specialization knowledge rather than language skills, unsatisfied content, etc., which seriously hinders the enhancement of the teaching quality of ESP courses. The problems of textbooks are ultimately the problems of textbook editors, so building a diversified, professional and efficient editorial team is the guarantee of high-quality textbooks. This study takes the ESP teachers of three higher vocational colleges in SY city as the research object, guided by the concept of CLIL, investigates three aspects related to the core requirements of ESP digital textbooks’ writing, and finds that the ESP teachers, as the main force of ESP digital textbooks’ writing, have difficulties that cannot be overcome by themselves in short term, such as insufficient professional background knowledge and low level of information technology, so they cannot completely solve the problems of textbooks by themselves. Therefore, this paper put forward the construction of a TPT teachers’ community, a tripartite synergy for the high-quality development of ESP digital textbooks.

摘要
