A Cryptography-Based Approach to Wireless Sensor Network Security
摘要
A wireless sensor network should be protected from unauthorized access and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of data, especially in sensitive environments. In conventional encryption methods, key management is a major challenge, while asymmetric encryption often offers lower levels of security. It proposes a hybrid encryption strategy that leverages secure key establishment method (SKEM) techniques in order to enhance security. As a result, symmetric-key cryptography is emphasized to maintain security while consuming little energy in cluster-based sensor networks. Strictly optimized methods mitigate this limitation despite the higher storage requirements of symmetric key cryptography. When compared with current methods, the proposed solution reduces storage requirements and energy consumption while enhancing security resilience against diverse threats.
