Micro-grid is an exhaustive application of distributed generation and is an alternative solution to energy crisis. The use of power electronic-interfaced distributed generation system and nonlinear loads is causing power quality issues in micro-grid. This paper presents overview of various power quality issues in micro-grid and the analysis of various optimization techniques for power quality improvement in micro-grid. This study helps researchers in their respective field.
