In view of the lack of anti-rolling means for underwater platforms, this paper proposes a fluid momentum wheel anti-rolling technology based on the gyroscopic stabilization effect. Taking the annular fluid momentum wheel as the research object, based on the STAR -CCM+ simulation software, the torque characteristics of the fluid momentum wheel in the direction of the motion axis and the vertical motion axis are analyzed when the fluid momentum wheel is forced to swing when the fluid in the ring is stationary and has speed. The existence of the momentum wheel precession anti-rolling moment was successfully verified . On this basis, based on numerical simulation and the formation mechanism of the precession force square, a quantitative evaluation formula for the precession torque of the fluid momentum wheel is proposed, which provide theoretical and data support for the application of the fluid momentum wheel to the anti-rolling of underwater platforms.
