In order to seize the strategic opportunity of intensive innovation and high-speed growth of UAV development, it is necessary to continuously innovate the organization mode of UAV key core technology research and promote the integrated development of UAV industry. This paper has sorted out the main types and development status of UAV key core technologies, and analyzed the urgent problems faced in UAV key core technology research. The study concludes that it is important to pay attention to the pulling role of the demand side, coordinate the layout of key core technology research and development, guide and motivate all kinds of subjects to closely match the national strategy, build innovation consortiums oriented to the needs of the users, and reform the education and talent cultivation system, so as to efficiently organize all kinds of subjects to collaborate in the research and development of the key core technology of UAVs.
