This paper explores the distributed estimation issue in sensor networks, focusing on collaborative state estimation of discrete-time plants through communication. To address bandwidth constraints and ensure reliable information transmission in the presence of random noise interference, a coder-decoder based distributed observer is formulated for stochastic systems, and the effectiveness of the proposed observer is demonstrated through numerical experiments.
