This study explored the role of the UAV industry in empowering the high-quality development of China's low-altitude economy from the perspective of new quality productivity. The study assessed the weights of these indicators by constructing a set of multi-dimensional indicator system including infrastructure, market scale, aircraft manufacturing and development environment, green development, and applying the entropy method. The empirical analyses adopted the smoothness test, cointegration test and OLS regression method, and the results showed that the development of the UAV industry significantly contributed to the high-quality growth of the low-altitude economy, especially in terms of economic efficiency, growth level, innovation capacity and human resources. In addition, the analysis examined the impact of control variables such as government scientific and technological support and opening up to the outside world.
