Knowledge representation and management is one component of the MDATA model. Knowledge representation is mainly achieved by transforming human comprehensible language into computer processable form, thus improving knowledge representation capability and computer processing efficiency and realising automatic knowledge utilisation. Knowledge management improves the efficiency of knowledge utilisation through effective organisation, classification, storage and retrieval of knowledge.
