“Sustainable development is the development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. Looking closely in this widely used definition led to an understanding that sustainability is not about fulfilling current needs but indeed respecting the needs of future generations in which efficacy and wisdom in consuming the natural resources is a key method to do so.
