摘要
The advent of mobile technology has fundamentally transformed the retail landscape, heralding a new era of digital disruption. Mobile applications (apps) have emerged as pivotal drivers of this disruption, reshaping consumer behavior and revolutionizing how individuals engage with e-retail platforms. In the context of India's burgeoning market, characterized by rapid technological advancements and evolving consumer preferences, it becomes imperative for businesses to understand the factors influencing consumer preference for mobile apps in e-retail. Through a survey of 1110 consumers, the study aims to provide a nuanced understanding of the demographic characteristics of the respondents, offering valuable insights into the diverse user segments. This research explores the determinants shaping consumer behavior towards the acceptance of mobile apps for e-retail. The findings reveal that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, favorable consumer attitude act as accelerators, while perceived risk inhibits behavioral intention to purchase online via mobile apps. The research offers practical insights for businesses navigating India's dynamic e-retail landscape, empowering them to capitalize on mobile technology's transformative potential and engage consumers effectively in an increasingly digitalized marketplace.
