The study aims to examine the relationship between shared beliefs and morals, work-family conflict, flexibility at work, marital adaptability, family cohesion, and family satisfaction. This study draws on a survey of 510 male and 507 female Qataris. A regression analysis shows that only 4 out of 5 independent variables are significant in predicting family satisfaction, with specific reference to families in Qatar. This research comes up with a modified circumplex model to understand family satisfaction among Qatari families, which is hypothetically sound and adapted to suit the Qatari context. Thus, the study offers a conceptual causal model for family satisfaction that may enhance our understanding and reinforce the institution of marriage in Qatar and beyond.

摘要
