Regenerative agriculture (RA) is a combined management of the soil and its health for human food production. RA practices minimizing the soil disturbance, maximizing crop diversity, maintaining soil cover, integrating livestock, and enhancing biodiversity. The best management practices are no-till farming, cover cropping, and holistic grazing management alongside their proper application and precise effectiveness for enhancing sustainability of the ecosystems. Many innovative practices of RA resulting in improved soil health, enhanced carbon sequestration, nutrient cycling, and greater resilience to climate stresses. RA related associated problems that users have to face, namely, initial costs, knowledge requirements, and lack of policy support as the critical factors in the adoption. The future directions and research needs, emphasizing the importance of scaling up practices, developing supportive policies, advancing technologies, and improving education in the field. Thus, the RA can reshape the global food systems by making them productive, resilient, and sustainable in the face of increasing challenges.
