This paper introduces a novel image steganography and cryptography method using genetic algorithms (GA) in the spatial domain. The prioritization lies in maintaining image quality while embedding secret data. Robustness and security are achieved through GA optimization. This approach effectively conceals sensitive information within images while preserving visual integrity. Hybrid scheme consists of advanced encryption standard (AES) and Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman (ECDH) key exchange for added security during data transmission. The system involves random permutation and AES encryption before concealing ciphertext within images. Experimental results demonstrate improved peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and reduced histogram distortion, enhancing security and visual quality.
