Master Data Management aims to increase the quality of business processes by having a single information repository. Like other enterprise integration projects, there are failures in the implementation of Master Data Management. Several failures in implementation are related to a missing data quality process, due to lack of proactive data quality control. The objective of this work is to develop an enterprise-oriented data quality architecture in the era of big data that will be linked directly to business process performance as part of an online analytical mining framework? How appropriate is this architecture for the oil and gas industry? Here we consider the case of oil and gas industry sector in Libya in the domain of Mellitah Oil and Gas (MOG).
