In today’s digital landscape, the adoption of cloud storage has surpassed traditional physical drives as the primary means of data storage. This shift is driven by the increased convenience and seamless data sharing facilitated by cloud-based solutions. Cloud storage offers numerous advantages, including robust safeguards to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability, crucial elements for maintaining robust data security. Despite the extensive security measures implemented by cloud service providers, data breaches persist, posing a significant threat to sensitive information. This research paper aims to conduct a thorough analysis of the underlying vulnerabilities within cloud storage systems that contribute to the success of these attacks. It also seeks to propose innovative solutions to effectively mitigate these risks. One potential solution under consideration is the integration of Blockchain Technology into existing cloud storage infrastructures. Blockchain, known for its decentralized and immutable nature, offers inherent security features such as transparency, cryptographic security, and immutability. Leveraging these features can enhance the overall security of cloud storage systems.
