This review paper addresses the use of Blockchain technology in cloud, edge and fog computing environments. It introduces a novel taxonomy of this use regarding the security aspects of the fundamental features of these computing paradigms: data storage and data processing. The study has facilitated the identification of key findings and outlined perspectives.
