This chapter is a compilation of presentations by UTAS—trained professional engineers who graduated in the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and later. These presentations were first made at an online session in October 2020 held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first meeting of the UTAS Faculty of Engineering. Graduates were invited to reflect on time as undergraduates and the variety and eminence of their subsequent careers. Also included are biographies and “pitches” from UTAS Rhodes Scholars. Besides the broad nature of the curriculum, the relatively small size of the faculty and the expertise and dedication of the lecturing staff, particularly Professor Oliver, are common themes of the graduate’s recollections.
