From Africa to East Asia: Universality and Particularity of Kinship Studies
摘要
Over the past century, anthropology has undergone significant evolution. In contemporary anthropological literature, recurrent themes encompass various topics, including gender, tourism, development, ethnic tensions, healthcare, environmental concerns, refugees, indigenous movements, nationalism, colonial matters, and more. These terms also find application in other social science disciplines like political science, economics, international relations, law, and sociology, underscoring their relevance as shared challenges confronting humanity today. The examination of these issues inherently involves the anthropological research traditions of “culture” and “social structure”.
