Cultural, Ethnic and Global Dimensions of Clan Studies
摘要
As the discipline of anthropology has evolved, relying solely on quantitative research has proven insufficient to encompass the comprehensive scope of family and kinship studies. In the backdrop of globalization, a significant challenge emerges in effectively harmonizing the examination of family structures and their associated cultural practices with the broader scope of social evolution. This entails bridging kinship studies with considerations of regional societies and global influences, while also gaining a reasoned understanding of the processes involved in culture's production, re-creation, and the emergence of transnational networks that extend beyond family and ethnic affiliations.
