The security landscape, prerequisites, and security protocols have all undergone modifications in the latest mobile banking setting. This qualitative approach employed the Bank of Ayudhya PCL. (KMA), Thailand, as a case study for mobile application security. The researchers adopted a systematic review using the Prisma method in four stages based on scholarly papers in Scopus, Web of Science (WOS), and Google Scholar. Purposive sampling was employed, and content analysis was used to interpret and analyze the results. This research employed the Bank of Ayudhya PCL. (KMA), Thailand as a case study. The findings show that the authentication mechanisms for mobile banking communications networks have generated significant academic and business attention due to their impact on the evolution of banking mobile communications, privacy, and security. Privacy and security of mobile banking applications have become prominent areas of study. Banking mobile apps and artificial intelligence (AI) are users’ most commonly encountered and utilized methods. This study has significantly contributed to academic and practical aspects of banking mobile application security. It can serve as a valuable guide for future research and systems development in this field. Further studies are recommended for in-depth insights for questionnaires, interviews, and focus groups.
